比计划提前

汇报进度时给时间状态:提前 / 按期 / 落后。

The design review closed two days ahead of schedule.

cut the waiting time in half主推

把等待时间砍掉一半

说改善幅度。数字说小(一半/两成)比说 very much 可信。

The new checklist cut our waiting time in half.

raise one blocker主推

提出一个卡点

把卡点摆上桌。raise a blocker 是固定搭,不说 I have problem。

Before I wrap up, I want to raise one blocker from the test run.

ask for主推

请求…(资源)

要资源的第一动词。ask for 后面直接接要的东西,不加 ask for help。

I want to ask for a second staging server for two weeks.

take the biggest risk off

把最大的风险从…上拿掉

解释为什么这个请求值得批 —— 把风险讲具体。

This one change would take the biggest risk off the schedule.

wrap up by

在…之前收尾完成

给承诺时带上时间点,不空说 as soon as possible。

I will wrap up the test report by the tenth.
